Reminder, today is the first day of JH Girls Basketball practice in the Midd-West Middle school gym from 3:15 - 5:30 pm. All participants are required to have a current (dated after 6/1/22) physical on the PIAA CIPPE form your daughter received when she signed up to participate. There will be additional information and schedules handed out at today's practice.
The PIAA District IV golf championships were held this past weekend at the Williamsport Country Club. Heading into the second day of competition, the Mustangs had two competitors advance. Sitting in 2nd place after the first day was Kyle Beward and Chris Walter was tied for 14th. On a rainy and cold Saturday, Kyle shot a tournament low 76 and erased a 4 stroke deficit to be the District IV AA CHAMPION! Kyle is the first MW golfer to win the title and will travel to Penn State to compete in the State tournament. Congratulations Kyle!
The Midd-West cross country team traveled to Bloomsburg University this past weekend to compete in the NEPA Invitational. Both the varsity and JH teams ran very well and a number of PR's were set. Anden Aitkins finished 27th out of 135 runners. In the JH division, Grant Boop medaled with a 20th place finish. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Griffen Paige and Caden Wolfley who have committed to Division 1 college baseball programs. Griffen will be attending Wright State in the fall of 2023 and Caden will be attending Charleston Southern in the fall of 2024. Way to go and best wishes for a fantastic future!

Attention all 7th and 8th grade junior high softball players, practice will begin on Monday, August 22nd from 4:00-6:00 pm. The field is located behind Dunkin Donuts in Middleburg. All athletes must have a current physical dated after 6/1/22 to be eligible to start practice.
