The Midd-West track and field team had a great first night at the PIAA District IV Championships on Thursday night. The men's 4x800 relay took 4th overall but also ran a state qualifying time to earn a spot at Shippensburg University next week. Miles Aurand also broke his own school record in the shot put to earn a 2nd place finish and a trip to the state championships. Congratulations to all and good luck to the remaining athletes who will compete on Saturday.
Congratulations to the Midd-West Baseball team as they clinched the PHAC Division 2 championship last evening by defeating Montoursville 5-4. The team finishes the regular season with an overall record of 15-3. The Mustangs will now enter into AAAA Districts as the #2 seed. Information on dates and times will be posted once the brackets are released. Way to go Mustangs! We are proud of you!
