Due to the MW boy's soccer team playing in the PIAA semi-finals on Tuesday evening in Danville, the winter parent/athlete meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Nov. 17th at 6:00 pm in the high school auditorium.
The Mustangs boys soccer team will face Lewisburg in the PIAA semi-final round on Tuesday at Danville HS at 7pm. Reminder that all tickets must be purchased at the following link.

Congratulations to the Midd-West boys soccer team who defeated District III champion Lancaster Mennonite, 3-2, on Tuesday night. Goal scorers were Kynn Loss and Nick Eppley (2). This places the Mustangs in the Elite 8 in PIAA AA classification. They will play Notre Dame Green Pond on Saturday at location and time TBD. Good luck Mustangs! Keep up the great work!

Tuesday evening the Midd-West boys soccer team defeated Milton 5-1 in the District IV semi-finals. Scoring for MW: Owen Solomon (2), Kyle Ferster, Nolan Stahl and Nick Eppley. Congratulations to MW cross country team members as they competed in the PIAA District IV AA Championships today. Lydia Bowersox punched her ticket to the State Championship meet next weekend in Hershey by finishing 12th overall. Freshman Ben Hummel just missed qualifying with a 23rd place finish. Anden Atkins finished in 31st place. Congratulations to all the runners and good luck Lydia!
Game time change for Thursday, October 28th - field hockey at Selinsgrove vs. Lewisburg will be a 7:00 pm start, not 8:00 pm.
There will be a meeting for all winter athletes and a parent on Tuesday, November 16th at 6:00 pm in the high school auditorium.
Time Change - tomorrow's girls soccer game at Shamokin will be a 7:00 pm start on the turf field in Kemp Memorial Stadium.
Reminder, tickets can only be purchased online and not at the gate.
Winter Season Sign-ups:
Any students who are interested in participating in a winter sport, please contact Bree Solomon at bsolomon@mwsd.cc for the correct paperwork. Students in 9-12th grade can choose from basketball, wrestling, bowling and cheer. Boys in 7th and 8th grade can choose from basketball and wrestling. All teams start practice on Nov. 19th except for 7th/8th grade boys basketball starts on December 6th.

Wednesday, Oct. 27 - Girls soccer travels to Shamokin - 4:00 pm start
Thursday, Oct 28 - Cross Country travels to Bloomsburg University - Girls will run at 11:00 AM and Boys will run at 11:45 AM.
Thursday, Oct. 28 - Field Hockey travels to Selinsgrove to play Lewisburg - 8:00 pm start
Saturday, 10/30 - Boys Soccer will play at a site and time TBD
