The MWSD will be offering physicals free of charge on May 13th from 10:30-2:15 pm. 6th and 7th graders will be brought to the high school for a physical at 10:30 that day. All 8-11th graders are asked to sign up for a time in the nurse's office. This is the only date we will offer physicals for the 2026-27 school year, and we can only complete a physical if we have the correct paperwork in healthy roster. If your child does not participate in a fall sport but participates in a winter or spring sport and wants to have a physical on May 13th, please contact Mrs. Solomon at bsolomon@mwsd.cc for the correct paperwork. This also applies to students who are eligible to participate but do not attend in person (home-school, cyber, etc). Midd-West sophomore, Madison Herrold, competed in the State Bowling Singles Championships this past weekend in Lancaster. Madi finished 14th overall with a 1105 pin total over 6 games. Congratulations on a fantastic season!

Congratulations to Charley Paige and Evan Maneval who have qualified for the PIAA State Wrestling Championships in Hershey this weekend. Evan was the regional runner-up at 160 lbs. and Charley finished 3rd in the 145 lb. weight class. Both will wrestle on Thursday at the Giant Center in Hershey. Congratulations guys and best of luck!
Congratulations to Madison Herrold on her 7th place finish at Regionals this past weekend in Lancaster. Madison held a 207 average through 5 games to advance. She will now compete in the State tournament in two weeks. Congratulations Madison and keep up the great work!

A big GOOD LUCK to our Midd-West competitive cheer team as they travel to Johnstown on Friday and Saturday to compete in the PIAA State Championships. The team will take the mat at 10:44 am on Friday to compete in the preliminary round. Go Stangs!
Congratulations to the Midd-West competitive cheer squad on qualifying for States for the 2nd year in a row! The team finished 2nd in the large division and 4th overall out of 19 teams in District IV. They will travel to the 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown to compete on Jan. 9th and 10th. Good luck ladies!
