On March 7th, 18 Midd West Students participated in this year's National History Day Regional Competition at Lock Haven University. Students choose to display their knowledge in an exhibit, paper, website, documentary or performance and create a project based on the annual theme individually or with a ream. This year's theme was Rights and Responsibilities. The Middle West District had 1 performance, 1 documentary, and 6 exhibits presented among the 5 high school students (Emma Bell, Amarah Mulaney, Layla Mull, Cayleb Sobczyk, Britnee Tate) and 13 middle school students (Haylee Bickhart, Grace Bohner, Cadence Carnahan, Audra Folk, Tyler Gilligbauer, Liam Hazelwood, AJ Kipp, Aubrey Lullo, Penny Plummer, George Rood, Sam Rood, Peyton Strom, AnnaLee Yost). We are proud of the hard work each student put into this Academic challenge. Midd West was then represented State Competition at Scranton University on April 12th by 3 of the groups
