Midd-West High School’s Young American for March 2026 is Kaitlyn Campbell. She is the daughter of Darrell and Nichole Campbell of Beavertown. Kaitlyn has served as the Stage Crew Manager for the Spring 2025 Musical, Assistant Stage Crew Manager for the Fall 2025 Play, and is currently the Secretary for Spanish Club. She is also the Social Media Manager at Essentials Hair and Nail Salon by Julie. Kaitlyn has received the Most Improved Singer for 10th Grade Award and has been on both the Honor and Distinguished Honor Rolls throughout her high school career. Kaitlyn gives back to her community by volunteering at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital over her summers. She has participated in Elementary Readers Club and 7th Grade Mentor Club. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys baking, going on adventures, collecting vintage items, and reading. Following graduation, Kaitlyn plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to study Pre-Radiography (RDA) and become a Radiologic Technologist. She believes she was selected as a Young American for her leadership, compassion, and hard work ethic. Kaitlyn would like others to know that she enjoys helping others and is thankful for her family, friends, teachers, and God who has guided her throughout high school.
