Midd-West High School November 2025 Young American

Midd-West High School’s Young American for November 2025 is Emma Wagner. She is the daughter of Jason and Erica Wagner of Beavertown. Emma holds leadership positions as the current Student Council President and Basketball Team Captain. She served as the Student Council Reporter in 11th grade. Emma was selected as the Student of the Month in 9th,10th, and 11th Grade. She has been on the Honor and Distinguished Honor Rolls throughout her high school career. Emma has received the PHAC 2nd Team Basketball All-Star in 10th and 11th grade, Daily Item Basketball Honorable Mention All-Star in 10th and 11th grade, and Daily Item Softball 2nd Team All-Star in 11th grade. She also was selected for the Montgomery Dionna Satteson Memorial Basketball All-Tournament Team in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and the PA Field Hockey All-State All-Academic Team. Emma has given back to her community by helping with local food drives and being a blood donor. She has been a 5th Grade Outdoor Education Counselor at Camp Mount Luther and has volunteered with Read Under the Lights, Trunk or Treat, and Elementary Basketball. Emma enjoys attending her youth group, reading, shopping, as well as playing softball, basketball, and field hockey. After graduation, Emma is planning to attend Lycoming College to major in Psychology and obtain her Elementary Education and Special Education Certificates in addition to playing collegiate softball. Emma believes she was selected as a Young American because of her involvement and leadership within school activities and for always striving to do her best. Emma would like others to know that she is thankful for everything her family has done for her. She would not be who she is today without them.
