Running Mustang

Good evening, Mustang families!

This message includes a few reminders as we continue to prepare for the first day of the upcoming school year.  Due to the length of this message, the information will also be posted to the Midd-West High School website for reference.

First, updated busing information is now available in the Sapphire Community Portal. Please find time to check this for accuracy, and we ask that all change requests be submitted through your child’s building prior to Friday, August 15, 2025.

Similarly, the yearly back-to-school forms are also now available in the Sapphire Community Portal.  As a reminder, parents must be signed into the Parent Portal to access and submit these forms.  Please feel free to get started on this paperwork and submit the forms prior to the start of the year!

Students who desire additional servings or ala carte items from the cafeteria beyond the meal provided will have to pay for them via cash or with money on their school lunch account.  Money can be deposited by cash, personal check, or through My School Bucks (myschoolbucks.com).  Students should plan to begin the year with money deposited in their accounts.

Seniors attending Sun-Tech are reminded of the mandatory First Day Orientation meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13, at 7:30 am in the Midd-West High School Auditorium.  This is also the first day of school for Sun-Tech students.

Additionally, Back-to-School night for the high school will be tomorrow, August 13th from 5:00-6:30 pm.  Students and families will be able to pick up a copy of their schedule, beginning-of-the-year paperwork not included on the Community Portal, and visit lockers, classrooms, and teachers for the evening.  At 5:15 pm, there will be an introduction and brief orientation for 8th grade students and parents in the auditorium.  At 6:00 pm, there will be a meeting for seniors and parents with the senior class advisors to go over important information pertaining to their senior year and graduation next May.

Finally, I trust everyone will enjoy the final days of summer vacation and I look forward to welcoming all students back on Tuesday, August 19th for the first day of what will be a terrific 2025-26 school year!

Have a great evening, Mustangs!
