Gavin Maust, a 10th grader at MWHS, recently participated in the Susquehanna Valley Section of the American Chemical Society's High School Chemistry Exam under the guidance of his Honors Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Mowery. Gavin bested all other students in his region and was awarded one of five David H. Frederick Memorial Awards in High School Chemistry. He attended the local ACS section's Annual Education Awards Banquet where he was honored.
