Midd-West High School March 2024 Young American
Midd-West High School is pleased to announce the March 2024 Young American is Noah Romig. He is the son of Chris and Mandi Romig of Middleburg. Noah has served in leadership roles as Captain of the Midd-West Soccer Team, Captain of the Midd-West Basketball Team, and Junior Class Treasurer. Noah has received the Daily Item Scholar Athlete of the Week for Golf and Soccer together and the Daily Item Scholar Athlete of the Week for Basketball. Noah has been on the Distinguished Honor Roll and Honor Roll throughout his high school years. He was selected as the Student of the Month in 11th grade. Noah gives back to his community by officiating summer soccer tournaments and helping coach elementary basketball. He volunteers with local Youth Sports Camps and the Middlecreek Area Community Center with their fundraiser events. Noah enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and golf. Following graduation, Noah is planning to attend Misericordia University to study Physical Therapy and play soccer. Noah believes he was selected to be a Young American because of his ability to succeed in school and in addition to giving back to his community through his passions and talents in sports. He would like others to know how grateful he is for everyone who has helped him to work toward his goals, including his family, teachers, and coaches.
