Students of the Month

The 8th grade Student of the Month for January is Harmony Penepacker. She is the daughter of Nicole Smith of Beaver Springs and Barry Penepacker of Pequea. Harmony was chosen as the Student of the Month because she participates in class, is willing to help other students, and is motivated to succeed. Harmony is a member of the FFA in school. Outside of school, she enjoys fishing, writing, and photography. In the future, Harmony plans to further her education in carpentry, videography/photography, and freelance writing.



Jocelyn Nipple is the 9th grade Student of the Month for January. She is the daughter of Shannon Nipple of Liverpool. In school, Jocelyn is an honors student in English, Biology, and American History who enjoys Psychology, Mathematics, and Science. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of activities including reading, drawing, sewing, baking, writing, organizing, debating, swimming, and hiking. After graduation, Jocelyn plans to pursue higher education and become a doctor. Jocelyn was selected as the Student of the Month because she is an exemplary student who does high quality work in a timely manner, asks pertinent questions, contributes to classroom discussions, and is respectful to her classmates and teachers.


The 10th grade Student of the Month for January is Madison Swineford. She is the daughter of Curtis and Amanda Swineford of Middleburg. Madison was selected as the Student of the Month because as a sophomore she is taking advanced classes while participating in various extra-curricular activities and is a classroom leader. Madison’s school activities include Student Council, Yearbook, and National Honor Society. She is on the Softball Team and manages the Junior High Softball Team. Outside of school, she enjoys playing travel softball, camping, and reading. After graduation, Madison would like to continue her softball career, attend college, and become a Physician’s Assistant.


Aleah Feltman is the 11th grade Student of the Month for January. She is the daughter of Betsy Feltman of Middleburg and the late Dale Feltman. In school, Aleah participates in FFA, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Spanish Club, and Thursday Morning Bible Study. Aleah is the reigning 2024 Beaver Community Fair Queen. She enjoys 4H and traveling. Aleah is also active at Paxtonville Church, participating in their Youth Group, Chapel, and Prayer Group. In the future, Aleah is planning to become a Dental Assistant. Aleah was chosen as the Student of the Month because she is a kind student who is supportive of her peers and works hard in and outside of school.


The 12th grade Student of the Month for January is Adisson Friel. She is the daughter of Scott and Stephanie Friel of Beaver Springs. Adisson was chosen as the Student of the Month because she is a hard worker, very motivated to succeed, and maintains a positive attitude. She carries a challenging courseload and is excelling in the classroom. Adisson’s school activities include being a member of the Golf Team, Lacrosse Team, and National Honor Society. In her free time, she loves to read, play golf, swim, and be outside. After graduation, Adisson is planning to further her education by attending Millersville University for Marine Biology.
