Students of the Month

The 8th grade Student of the Month for December is Isaiah Osgood. He is the son of Michael and Sara Osgood of Middleburg. Isaiah was chosen as Student of the Month because he has a strong work ethic and is motivated to succeed. Isaiah is involved in Band in school. Outside of school, he enjoys baseball, video games, fishing, playing with friends, and setting off fireworks. In the future, Isaiah would like to be a carpenter.



Caedence Wolfe is the 9th grade Student of the Month for December. She is the daughter of Danielle Bell and Tim Wolfe of Middleburg. In school, Caedence participates in Soccer. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hunting, crocheting, drawing, and shooting competition bow. After graduation, Caedence plans to attend an Ivy League college and study to become a Marine Biologist. Caedence was selected as Student of the Month because she is an excellent and self-motivated student who always participates and volunteers in class, works well with other students, and is eager to help her peers in addition to setting high goals her herself and her future.


The 10th grade Student of the Month for December is Matthew Hunsberger. He is the son of James and Rosemary Hunsberger of Richfield. Matthew was selected as the Student of the Month because he is an exceptional and responsible student who is quick and eager to learn, takes pride in his academic success, and provides a role model to all. He displays a caring attitude as he asks peers and adults how they are doing and offers a sense of humor to make others smile. His school activities include Theatre and Choir. Outside of school, Matthew enjoys playing the piano, working out, walking in the woods, bowling, hanging out with friends, and has a love for animals. After graduation, he is planning to attend college and become a German teacher.


Lana Kratzer is the 11th grade Student of the Month for December. She is the daughter of Carl and Moriah Kratzer of Middleburg. In school, Lana participates in Jazz Band, Marching Band, Vocal Collective, Theater, National Honor Society, and Class Congress. She enjoys doing musical activities, singing, and spending time with friends and family. In the future, Lana is planning to attend college to earn a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Lana was chosen as Student of the Month because she is a thoughtful and kind student who works hard in the classroom, always does her best work, and is eager to help her peers.


The 12th grade Student of the Month for December is Rachel Keister. She is the daughter of Chad and Lori Keister of Middleburg. Rachel was chosen as Student of the Month because she is academically successful, participates in various extracurriculars, and is an outstanding role model for other students. Rachel’s school activities include Soccer, Softball, and National Honor Society. In her free time, she enjoys sports, art, hunting, and hanging out with friends. After graduation, Rachel is planning to further her education by studying Pharmacy at Wilkes University and continue to play soccer.
