Students of the Month

The 8th grade Student of the Month for October is Andrew Snook. He is the son of Jennifer Montgomery and Roger Snook of Beaver Springs. Andrew was chosen as the Student of the Month because he is taking Honors Biology as an 8th grade student who displays curiosity and does extra research on class topics to share with the class. Andrew’s school activities include Band and Marching Band in addition to being the Vice-President of the Class of 2028. Outside of school, he enjoys a variety of activities including go-karting, model building, playing chess and baseball, camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, traveling, and exploring national parks. He also participates in Boy Scouts. In the future, Andrew plans to attend Penn State University to obtain a master’s degree in marketing.


Nora Delong is the 9th grade Student of the Month for October. She is the daughter of Dennis and Allison Delong of Middleburg. In school, Nora participates in Volleyball, Girls Basketball, and DECA. She serves as the Treasurer of the Class of 2027. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hanging out with friends, and participating in youth group and Bible study at Christ Church of Beaver Springs. After graduation, Nora plans to attend college but is undecided on an area of study. Nora was selected as the Student of the Month because she is an organized student with a good attitude who likes to challenge herself and help with building school pride. She is the first to volunteer when something needs done and goes above and beyond in the classroom.



The 10th grade Student of the Month for October is Alyssa Aucker. She is the daughter of Angela Aucker of Middleburg. Alyssa was selected as the Student of the Month because she works hard in class, always produces great work, and is eager to learn. Alyssa’s school activities include Bowling, Key Club Treasurer, and Youth in Philanthropy. Outside of school, she enjoys working and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, Alyssa is planning to attend college for Criminal Justice.




William Stover is the 11th grade Student of the Month for October. He is the son of Donald and Stephanie Stover of Middleburg. In school, William participates in Student Council, Boys Soccer, Track and Field, and Envirothon. He enjoys playing soccer, fishing, running, and playing yard games with family. In the future, William is planning to attend college. William was chosen as Student of the Month because he is excelling in Calculus and is an active participant in class.





The 12th grade Student of the Month for October is Emily Kline. She is the daughter of Michael and Monica Kline of Middleburg. Emily was chosen as the Student of the Month because she is an excellent student who is conscientious, personable, and helpful. She is always willing to lend a hand when it is needed and is a great role model for other students. Emily’s school activities include leadership roles as Student Council President, National Honor Society Secretary, Field Hockey Captain, and Girls Basketball Captain. In addition, she was last year’s Beaver Fair Queen. She is in the Work Study Program with a placement at Geisinger in a co-op. Outside of school, she is active participating in 4-H, serving on the Beaver Fair Junior Fair Committee, and working at Jacks Mountain Freeze. After graduation, Emily is planning to attend college to become a Physician’s Assistant.
