Students of the Month

The 8th grade Student of the Month for September is Parker Eppley. He is the son of Ethan and Joann Eppley of Middleburg. Parker was chosen as Student of the Month because he is very motivated to succeed. His school activities include Midd-West Cross Country and Junior High Soccer. Outside of school, Parker enjoys running, lifting weights, playing soccer and Xbox, and hanging out with friends and family. In the future, Parker is planning to attend college.




Ashlyn Hoffman is the 9th grade Student of the Month for September. She is the daughter of Joseph and Heidi Hoffman of Mt. Pleasant Mills. In school, Ashlyn participates in Field Hockey and FFA, including Livestock Judging. In her free time, she enjoys participating in 4-H and Youth Group, playing guitar, showing sheep, farming, and hunting with family. After graduation, Ashlyn plans to further her education by going to college for Wildlife Management and later would like to become a Wildlife Biologist. Ashlynn was selected as Student of the Month because she works extremely hard, strives for excellence, and is an outstanding leader.





The 10th grade Student of the Month for September is Ian Hall. He is the son of Gregory and Nadia Hall of Middleburg. Ian was selected as the Student of the Month because as a student he is well-rounded, loves to learn, provides valuable in-put in class, pays attention to detail, and is helpful to his peers. Ian participates on the Midd-West Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking in the woods and the mountain near his town, going to the gym, and lifting with friends. Ian especially likes to take part in SIM-Racing. His favorite games are GTR2, NR2003, and Assetto Corsa. After graduation, Ian is planning to attend college for Mechanical Engineering so that he can become an engineer for a race team someday.



Madyson Reich is the 11th grade Student of the Month for September. She is the daughter of Mark and Jessica Reich of Middleburg. In school, Madyson is involved in the National Honor Society, Choir, and FFA. She is on the Midd-West FFA Officer Team as the Parliamentarian. Madyson is active in Girl Scouts and 4-H. She enjoys working with her steers and spending time with her family. In the future, Madyson is planning to attend Penn State University to study Agriculture Education. Madyson was chosen as Student of the Month because she works hard in the classroom, has a full schedule, yet continues to complete all her work in a timely manner even with all her extracurricular commitments.



The 12th grade Student of the Month for September is Hayleigh Zechman. She is the daughter of Mike and Heather Zechman of Middleburg. Hayleigh was chosen as the Student of the Month because she is a good student, respectful, and full of personality. Hayleigh is actively involved in and Vice-President of the FFA. She currently is helping with the morning announcements. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses, rodeo, showing sheep, serving on the Junior Fair Board Committee, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, Hayleigh is planning to further her education by attending Penn State University to earn a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business.
