Young American for November


Midd-West High School’s Young American for November is Mia Isaacs. She is the daughter of Jim and Amy Isaacs of Paxtonville. Mia was selected as a Young American for her academic achievements, involvement in various school activities, leadership, and always striving to become a better student and person. She currently serves as the President of the National Honor Society, Senior Class Vice President, Student Council Secretary, and Key Club Board Editor.  Mia has been on the Distinguished Honor Roll all throughout high school and Student of the Month each year. She gives back to her community by helping with Children’s Ministry and other events at her church, volunteering with National Honor Society and Key Club, being a 5th Grade Outdoor Education Camp Counselor, and serving on a mission trip to Tennessee the summer of 2018. After graduation, Mia is planning to attend college to major in Global Health and become a Naturopathic Doctor, travel, and experience other parts of the world. Something Mia would like people to know about her is that life is all about adapting and taking advantage of your circumstances in order to grow as a person and benefit those around you.
