Dear Parents:

The Midd-West School District is committed to working in partnership with parents in a variety of ways.

One specific area of cooperation is the school-wide Title I program. In accordance with Section 1118 of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, the Title I staff and a panel of Title I parents have created a School-Parent Compact that encourages parental involvement in the educational programs in our district. We invite you to work with us in the school-wide Title I program.

Below is a copy of our School-Parent Compact, which lists specific ways in which we can work together. On the first page is a copy of the Midd-West School District Title I Parent Involvement Plan. The next page details the school compact. The compact lists the responsibilities of the school, the students, and the parents.

All parents who attend the Annual Title I Meeting will receive a copy of the Midd-West School District’s School-Parent Compact.

We would like to thank you for your support and cooperation of our school-wide Title I program. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Federal Programs Coordinator at 570-837-0046.
