Under the guidance of Ms. Wanda Stamm and Mr. VanHorn, students at Midd-West middle school are learning the art of stained-glass. It all started when Miss Wanda came to the middle school for career day and worked with a group of students in creating a piece of stained-glass art. Staff members selected a small piece of glass and the students created a large piece using all of the selected pieces of glass. This group showed so much interest and were so eager to learn more that they met with Miss Wanda once a cycle for the rest of the school year. They came up with the design and took their time to create a beautiful work of art that will be proudly displayed in the middle school lobby.
