Midd-West High School April Students of the Month

The 8th grade Student of the Month for April is Olivia Stroup. She is the daughter of Anthony and Heidi Stroup of Richfield. Olivia was chosen as Student of the Month because she is a kind and respectful student who completes her work above and beyond expectations in a timely manner and helps other students. Her school activities include Soccer and Student Council. Outside of school, Olivia enjoys playing soccer and is on a traveling team. She also likes painting and listening to music. In the future, Olivia plans to attend SUN Technical Institute or college for Dental Hygiene.



Ariel Boyer is the 9th grade Student of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Bobby and Stacy Boyer of Beavertown. In school, Ariel participates in FFA. Outside of school, Ariel loves helping her dad work on tractors and trucks. She enjoys pulling her International tractor at tractor pulls. After graduation, Ariel plans to further her education or go straight into employment in the nursing field. Ariel was selected as Student of the Month because she is a diligent student who is eager to learn and always does her work in an exceptional and timely manner.




Macy Cook is the 10th grade Student of the Month for April. She is the daughter of Kelly Cook and Joseph Cook both of Middleburg. Macy was selected as the Student of the Month because she is a cheerful and optimistic student who contagiously brings positivity to those around her. She continuously works hard with excellence while demonstrating incredible empathy towards her peers. Macy’s school activities include Volleyball, Lacrosse, and volunteering for Summit Pre-K Counts. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, working at Kreamer Freeze, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, Macy is planning to attend college in the Human Services area after working a good job and saving money.



The 11th grade Student of the Month for April is Keiley Smith. She is the daughter of Thad and Amanda Graybill of Middleburg. In school, Keiley is active in Lacrosse and FFA Floriculture. She enjoys playing lacrosse and hanging out with her friends. In the future, Keiley is planning to attend Bloomsburg University to major in Special Education. Keiley was chosen as Student of the Month because she demonstrates maturity, patience, kindness, and excellence when working with Life Skills students.




The 12th grade Student of the Month for April is Kaylee Will. She is the daughter of Darvin and Christa Will of Mount Pleasant Mills. Kaylee was chosen as Student of the Month because she is an outstanding student who is always cheerful and optimistic. She has a creative mindset and strong work ethic that allows her to take on any challenge that is thrown her way. Kaylee is a role model to all her peers. In school, she is active in Advanced Computer Art, Advanced Art, Wind Ensemble, Select Ensemble, and Concert Band. She holds leadership positions as Yearbook Club Treasurer and Percussion Section Leader of the Marching Band. She enjoys painting, drawing, reading, drinking iced coffee, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. After graduation, Kaylee is looking forward to taking her brother, Josh, to the see the animals at the Middleburg Livestock Auction and further her education at Shippensburg University in Digital Design with a minor in Business.
