Flu Season Guidelines

Many people have concerns about this year’s flu season.  The following guidelines have been recommended by the Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control for any type of flu symptoms:
 

·          * Keep students at home when they are ill.

·          * If students have a fever they must stay home until they are fever free for 24 hours  without any fever

              medication.  Students will be checked when they return to school.

·          * It is important to have good hand hygiene at all times.  That includes washing hands frequently.  Hand

               sanitizers may be carried by students.

·          * Encourage students to cough and sneeze into their elbows.
